Tracy Jones Photography is delighted to partner with MKU for a special School Portrait Day featuring our signature black-and-white Personality Portraits.
These portraits are all about celebrating childhood just as it is. The big smiles, quiet expressions, contagious laughter, and little personalities that make every child wonderfully unique.
Simple, timeless, and full of life. No props, no distractions. Just your child being themselves.

Portraits will take place at MKU during the regular school day on Friday, December 4.
Each registered child will enjoy a brief, relaxed portrait experience designed to capture natural expressions and genuine personality. There's no pressure to perform or give the perfect smile.
Following Picture Day, families will receive access to a private online gallery to view their child's portraits and select their favorites.
Registration is complimentary, and there is no obligation to purchase.

A little preparation goes a long way, but there's no need to overthink it!
Keep clothing simple. Solid colors, subtle textures, and classic styles photograph beautifully in black and white. Avoid large logos, busy patterns, and graphic prints that may distract from your child's face.
Choose something comfortable. Clothing that fits well and feels natural allows your child's personality to shine.
Keep hair and grooming natural. A quick check before school is all you need. There's no need for elaborate styling.
Let them be little. You don't need to practice smiles or coach your child beforehand. We'll take care of the rest!
Digital Portrait Collections
Once your private gallery is ready, you’ll have the opportunity to choose the images you love.
Collection One | $125
3 digital images
Collection Two | $175
8 digital images
Collection Three | $225
Full digital gallery, typically 10-15 images
All collections include digital image downloads for personal use.
There is no session fee, and purchasing photographs is entirely optional.
How It Works
Register Your Child
Complete the brief online registration form and electronically sign the participation agreement sent to your email. Registration is required for your child to be photographed.
Picture Day
I'll photograph registered children at MKU during the regular school day. Parents do not need to attend.
View Your Portraits
Following Picture Day, you'll receive an email with access to your family's private online gallery.
Choose Your Favorites
Browse your portraits and purchase the digital collection that works best for your family. No purchase is required.

Absolutely! Families with multiple children attending MKU may include their children in the registration form.

Not at all! Personality Portraits are about capturing genuine expressions, not perfect poses. Some children are full of giggles, while others are naturally more reserved. Both are beautiful.

No. Portraits will be taken during the regular school day with assistance from MKU staff.

Portraits are scheduled for December 4. A makeup day is not currently planned.
